How do you know when a band is about to explode onto the scene?
When the buzz starts building from rock royalty long before the masses catch on.
Brad Arnold, the former lead singer of 3 Doors Down once said of Echostone,
“If you’re not following them, follow them.”
Scott Stapp of Creed said, “Echostone is a great young band. God bless those guys. I know the best is yet to come. They rock.”
And Chris Daughtry?
He’s got an opinion about the band’s lead singer and bandmates.
“The dude’s got a killer voice, great chorus… I think you’ll dig it.”
Endorsements like that don’t just fall out of the sky.
These are artists who have been to the top of the rock mountain and know a little something about what it takes to get there.
When they all point to the same band, it kinds of grabs your attention doesn’t it?
When you hear an Echostone song, it takes you back to that early 2,000s vibe of 3 Doors Down and Creed, but with a distinctive modern twist.
They’ve already hit the stage with some heavy hitters—opening for Scott Stapp on the Higher Power Tour (2024), and sharing bills with Gavin DeGraw, Everclear (May 2), and others.
But with as much regional success the band has enjoyed to date, they haven’t been able to take that next step to the national stage.
That might be, in part, due to the fact that until now, they’ve basically been doing everything behind the scenes themselves.
“We’re totally self-produced,” says Wes DeLoach, the lead singer of Echostone.”
What does totally self-produced mean?
DeLoach puts it this way;
“When you’re mixing, writing, and doing everything yourself, it’s a lot.”
“A lot” may be an understatement.
Overwhelming may be a more appropriate way to say it.
But here’s the thing.
Echostone has proven their songs can connect.
They’ve built a growing, dedicated fanbase of 19,000 strong.
So what’s missing?
That might be summed up in one word.
Access.
DeLoach says, “Dealing with guys in the industry… it’s not always the talent; it’s not always the songs—it’s the representation. We can have the best mix in the world, the best song…but if we can’t capture the larger audience it doesn’t matter.”
Echostone has done the grind, emails, bookings, even offering to play for free just to get into the bigger rooms.
But that’s a tall task when you’re having to do everything yourself.
What’s the answer?
DeLoach says, “We just need someone to open that next door for us.”
Enter Fourth Door Media & Entertainment, the new agency co-founded by 3 Doors Down guitarist, Chet Roberts.
DeLoach says Echostone reached out to Fourth Door for help in a variety of areas.
“We want to be able to team up with those guys—in the studio, making music videos, relationships, bookings… helping us to tell our story and to be taken seriously on a national scale.”
Their wish list of initial goals?
Get into the rotation on Sirius XM, open for more big-name bands from that early 2,000s era, which is undergoing a massive resurgence in 2026.
They want to play in the many notable festivals like Monsters of Rock, Hondo Fest, and others.
Eventually the band firmly believes it will be ready to headline everywhere.
They certainly don’t lack confidence when it comes to stepping onto any stage any time.
DeLoach says, “There’s a place for us at the table.”
They just need the right team to pull out the chair.
They strongly believe, Fourth Door Media is that team.
From that very first call with the execs at 4th Door Media, it was obvious, Roberts saw the same “it factor” in Echostone that his big name peers had already recognized.
He says, “I’ve got a soft spot for those guys. I can’t wait to connect with these dudes. Brad and a lot of my colleagues have always liked them too. They’ve got great stuff and are extremely talented.”
Chet says his goal isn’t to come in and change the very core of what Echostone has built.
He says, “It’s their creation. Let’s make a tweak here and there. Making music is almost like watching your baby grow. You want to see it grow into all it can turn into. I can help them with that.”
That’s exactly what the band wanted to hear during their recent hour-plus long conference call.
The band says they were struck with the humility, the back and forth discussion, the willingness to listen, and the length of time and individual attention the 4th Door team spent with them.
They said the credibility that comes with Roberts, his team, and the legacy tied to 3 Doors Down, is a massive step in the right direction.
“3 Doors Down was the pinnacle of what a rock and roll band is… we want to be one of the bands that leads the charge forward and carries the torch.”
That torch has already been lit, and the fire between the two sides has the potential to burn brightly.
Just last night, the band’s newest video release, “Better Days” was shared with viewers on Fourth Door Media’s first ever YouTube livestream.
Each side brings a potentially game-changing mix to the table.
Echostone has 4 million streams, major artist co-signs, national touring experience, a growing, engaged fanbase, and a fully self-built catalog.
Fourth Door brings instant credibility, industry relationships, storytelling that connects with fans well beyond music, and yes, the A word.
Access.
The kind of access and credibility that raw talent alone can’t unlock.
Fourth Door can get the band in front of some of the most powerful movers and shakers in the music industry.
So what’s next?
The band is in discussions right now about collaborating on a new song with Roberts.
That’ll happen at Label 22 inside the famous RCA Studios on Music Row in Nashville, where Roberts was recently interviewed, along with other members of 3 Doors Down, for an upcoming documentary called Unbreakable (Season one can be viewed on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and Spark TV).
That’s step one.
Fourth Door will also be collaborating with the band to book live shows, podcasts, and assist with the band’s social media and marketing.
Having help in all those areas is a relief to a band that says they are ready to“walk through that fourth door.”
As they say, they are “all in.”
Don’t be surprised when that 4th door opens wide… or when Echostone eventually kicks that door down.
