This wasn’t easy.
Trying to narrow down the reasons you should be at Live Oak on Music Row in Nashville on August 18th to just five was like trying to pour a 32-ounce beer into an 8-ounce can.
It wasn’t easy.
It got messy.
And there was way too much good stuff left over.
Here’s why.
There are concerts.
There are documentary and movie premieres.
There are parties where you walk in and pretty much know what to expect.
August 18th at Live Oak in Nashville is none of those things.
Fourth Door Media & Entertainment is taking over Live Oak for one night of music, film, friends, special guests, a few surprises—and, for our VIPs, three glorious hours to enjoy the open bar.
If you’ve been wondering whether you should grab a ticket, allow me to make this ridiculously easy for you.
Here are the Top 5 Reasons You Need to Be at Live Oak on August 18th.
1. You’ll See Unbreakable Before Everyone Else
The doors open at 5:00—and we’re off to the races.
Just like the Kentucky Derby, once that gate opens, there’s no easing into it.
The drinks start flowing, conversations get going, cameras start flashing, and the step-and-repeat comes alive with meet-and-greets.
Friends, artists, special guests, and a who’s who of familiar faces start filling the room.
At 6:00, the night truly begins.
VIPs will be upstairs as we turn down the lights.
That’s where we’ll showcase a special screening of Chet Roberts’ 30-minute documentary, Unbreakable.
It’s an up-close and deeply personal look at Chet’s story.
We’ll take you all the way back to Chet’s childhood and teenage years, through the odd jobs and unexpected turns that shaped him, and into the moment he was asked to join “that legendary band he was in.”
Then, everything changes.
You’ll see the day Chet’s life turned upside down, followed by a series of devastating family and personal struggles that would test him in ways the music business never could.
We should probably put a Fourth Door Media Kleenex box on every table, because when Chet opens up about his beloved father’s failing health—and, as Chet puts it, “dealing with his mortality”—there may not be a dry eye in the room.
You’ll hear not only from Chet, but also from members of his family, famous band and others in the music industry.
We filmed much of the documentary on Music Row, inside the historic RCA studios.
Chet fit right in there.
There’s a full-circle kind of moment for Chet there, but we’ll let him tell you himself during his episode.
I do know this.
His story of resilience will inspire you.
As the Executive Producer of the documentary, I’ll guarantee it.
2. Four Fourth Door Artists. One Stage. One Night.
Immediately after the episode, downstairs takes center stage.
That’s where four 4th Door artists will let it all hang out in this order.
🎸 Sir Charles
🔥 Timothy Chance
🤘 HANNAN (with an appearance by Chete Roberts joining the band)
🎤 Ryan Daniel (with an appearance by Chet Roberts joining the band)
Four completely different personalities and sounds.
All performing live at Live Oak.
This is a chance to experience what Fourth Door has been building all in one room, and trust us, these guys were not assembled for a quiet evening.
In fact, they have all talked privately about how hard they are going to BRING IT that night.
Come early.
Stay late.
Wear comfortable shoes.
3. The Guest List Is Getting a Little Ridiculous
Here is some late breaking news for ya.
Some very talented and nationally known artists are also expected to join us as VIPs for the night.
Megan Ruger, who you may remember from Season 6 of The Voice, is among them.
We’re also told country rap artist, SMO is stopping by to say hello.
Every time we think we know who’s coming, another name gets added—and there are a whole lot of names we haven’t mentioned yet, including Comedian Stevie D, Thomas Gabriel (Johnny Cash’s grandson), and Raelyn Nelson (Willie Nelson’s granddaughter).
All have confirmed their appearances.
At this point, we’re not sure who you’ll bump into at the bar, but keep your eyes peeled.
That’s pretty cool.
Come one, come all!
4. VIP Means OPEN BAR. For THREE HOURS.
We probably could have buried this farther down the article.
But why would we?
VIP guests get a three-hour open bar.
Three.
Hours.
We believe if you’re going to call it VIP, you’d better make it feel VIP.
Thanks to our sponsor, Contec Services, we’re doing exactly that.
So grab your friends, get there early, have a drink, meet some celebs, watch the documentary, catch the performances, and enjoy this rare Tuesday night vibe.
VIP tickets are….wait for it….
Just $25.00!
Seriously?
Start hydrating now.
Your next morning is between you and your coffee maker.
5. Because This one is For You.
How many times do music fans say they want to go to an event, get up close and personal with the artists, and be able to afford the darn ticket to get in.
That’s one of our goals at 4th Door Media.
We want to get back to the basics.
For musicians and their fans.
We feel like our little coming out party absolutely accomplishes that.
We cordially invite you to join us that night and moving forward.
So… Are You Coming?
